TISEZA in collaboration with NMB Bank, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Tanzania (CBCT) and the Association of Chinese Companies Doing Business in Tanzania (CEAT), has successfully organized an Investment Promotion Seminar in Special Economic Zones (SEZ) held on 26th June 2026 at EACLC, Ubungo, Dar es Salaam.

The seminar was officially opened by the Director of Special Economic Zones from TISEZA, Ms.     The seminar provided an important platform to discuss investment opportunities, investor facilitation services as well as the investment-friendly environment in the country, company leaders, representatives of Chinese companies operating in Tanzania, government institutions and various investment stakeholders. 

Participants received information on investment opportunities available within Special Economic Zones in Tanzania, investment incentives, financial solutions and facilitation services through TISEZA’s One Stop Facilitation Centre. Presentations were also made by the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), the National Environmental Management Council (NEMC) and other key institutions on the procedures and services available to investors. 

The seminar continued to strengthen cooperation between the government and the private sector as well as promote economic and investment relations between Tanzania and the Chinese business community.
